Jim Powell-Director

Jim is a World Champion dance instructor with over 25 years of experience with internationally famed Arthur Murray Studios. Jim has been dancing competitively and teaching for most of his life. His versatility incorporates multiple training methods with an emphasis on techniques that are easy to understand and are fun for the student.

Jim has taught hundreds of students at all skill levels and has served as a coach to the St. Norbert College swing choir. He has also taught group classes at St. Norbert College for student organizations. Jim is very patient and believes in providing a relaxing environment for his students to learn and achieve their goals.

Jim is married and has three grown children and five grandchildren. He enjoys following professional dance and college basketball, reading, traveling and spending time with his family. Now, we’d love to learn about you!
